Christmas Carol Concert 2018
'Tis the season to be jolly! To no surprise, this year's Carol Concert was a great success. We collaborated with Pellham Primary School who were outstanding as usual! It was a great event enjoyed by all.
"This was a wonderfully joyous occasion led by Sue Twynam. People joined in with the carols, although not much singing could be heard! All the words were up on the screen and the leaders from Bexley Deaf Centre Signed throughout.
It was very special to have children from Pelham School taking part - they have a deaf unit and all pupils learn sign language so that their deaf members can be integrated into mainstream schooling.
I thoroughly enjoyed being there and it would be lovely in 2019 to see more of Christ Church congregation present at this Carol Service, welcoming so many people who are disabled by deafness to our church."

Christmas Raffle
We're hosting a Christmas Raffle at 50p a ticket, with some fantastic prizes available to be won! Among the amazing things you can win are luxurious choccies, high-end cosmetics and even a Christmas pud if you're lucky! What's even better is that it's all in support of your local deaf community, as the proceeds go to Bexley Deaf Centre.
Website Updates
We've made sure to make some Updates here and there to the site, in order to make it much more efficient and comprehensive for our service users. We've updated our privacy policy as well as introducing our new blog! We hope you're just as excited about this new feature as we are - and we will aim to upload a new blog post every 3 months or so keeping you updated on the current Bexley Deaf Centre happenings. So make sure to watch this space!
